Using The Text Block Element
Want to insert blocks of information into your funnel page? This article will go over how to add and use the Text Block Element in ClickFunnels. This will be helpful if you need a text element that allows for more advanced editing of your text.
Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:
Step 1: Add The Text Block Element
1. Access the Funnels Page by hovering over the ClickFunnels drop-down menu from your dashboard and clicking on Funnels.
2. Choose the funnel you want to edit by clicking on the Funnel Name.
3. Select the desired funnel step.
4. Click on the Edit Page button of your funnel page to access the Page Editor.
5. Navigate to Elements and click on Add Element.
6. Scroll all the way down and click on the Text Block Element under the Misc Elements section. You can also drag the element and drop it on your page as needed.
Step 2: Edit The Text Block Element
1. Hover over your Text Block Element and click on the gear icon to access the element’s Settings.
2. Click on the Open Text Editor button to edit the text.
These are the options that you will find in the advanced text editor:
- HTML - Generate the HTML code of the text.
- Formatting - Choose from normal text, quote, code, and various headlines.
- Bold - Change text to bold.
- Italic - Change text to italic.
- Unordered List - Add an unordered list, similar to the bullet point list.
- Link - Generate links.
- Alignment - Adjust the alignment or justification.
- Font Color - Change the font color.
- Back Color - Change the background color.
- Font Size - Change the font size.
- Update - Click on this button once you’re done editing the text.
3. General Settings.
- Top Margin - Add space on the top of your element.
- Font Family - Select a font.
- Text Color - Select the text color.
- BG Color - Select the background color.
4. Advanced Settings.
- Styles.
- Text Columns - Select how many columns to display the text into.
- Padding - Add padding.
- Corners - Select square or rounded corners.
Animation.
- Time Delay Fade in or fade in with scale.
- Type - On page load or on page scroll for the delay that you have set.
5.Click the Save button to save your changes.
