Manually Add New Members
In this article, we will cover how to manually add members to your membership area. We will also go over how to add products and tags to give access to membership restricted content for the manually added member. This process will allow you to give access to your membership area without having your members sign-up themselves.
Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:
- An active ClickFunnels account
- A membership funnel
- Your member's email address
How To Manually Create A New Membership Account:
1. From within your funnel, click on the Membership Area step.
2. Select and copy the Secret Sign Up URL.
3. Paste the link in a new incognito (private) window.
- Mac instructions to open an incognito window: press Command + Shift + N
- Windows instructions to open an incognito window: press Ctrl + Shift + N
4. Create a login and password for the member using their email address.
5. Provide the member with the email address and password you used as the member will use them to log in to your membership area.
If you have restricted content in your membership area, remember to give access to the new member by adding the correct products and tags to their contact profile.
