Facebook Pixel API (CAPI) : Add Facebook Conversion CAPI Integration
In this article, you will learn how to add a Facebook™ pixel API to help improve the performance and management of your Facebook™ Ad Campaigns. This will allow you to add your tracking pixels directly to a domain as required by Facebook™.
Requires Business Administrator Access**
You will also be able to set which Facebook™ Events you want to fire on each page within your funnels. Learn more about the

Important Video Note:
At the time of creating, the video shows a
purchase event
as an option (at 5:40) in the event menu. The event menu no longer displays the
purchase event,
as it is automatically sent via the integration.
Prior to getting started, you will need the following:
- Add a new or existing Custom Domain .
- Facebook™ Conversion Pixel (requires Business Administrator Access).
- A Facebook Business Account
- A Facebook Ads Account
Important Note: Domains purchased through ClickFunnels must use the root domain and not a Subdomain to set up the Facebook Conversion Integration.

Step 1: Add Facebook Integration
- Click on Account Settings .
- Click on Integrations and click on Add New Integration .
- Search or Select Facebook™.
- Add an Integration Nickname .
- Click on Connect Integration .

OK
when prompted to allow access to the
ClickFunnels Integration App
.
Step 2: Add Pixel To Custom Domain
IMPORTANT! Make sure you assign an AD account to the pixel and the pixel has manager access to your pixel in order for this to work.
- Go to the Data Sources in Facebook™ Events Manager.
- Select the Pixel and click on Settings .
- Navigate to the Conversions API.
- Click on Generate access token .

Select and Copy the token.
- In ClickFunnels, Click on Account Settings .
- Click on Domains .
- Select the domain and click on Edit.
- Navigate to the Facebook Conversion Pixel.
- Click on Expand .

Click on
Add

- Select the Facebook™ Integration.
- Select the Pixel .

Paste the Token and click
Save
.
Step 3: Add Conversion Events To Funnel Page(s)
- Select your Funnel.
- Click on Settings .
- Select your Domain .

Click on
Save
.
- Select the funnel page/step after the conversion event/goal.
- Click on Edit Page .
- Click on Settings .
- Click on Facebook™ Pixel .
- Select the Facebook™ Event (only one event may be selected per page)
- Click on Save.
Important Note: You will want to paste the appropriate pixel code on the correct page types for tracking. For Page Views - Place the even on that specific funnel step. For Leads - Add the event on your Thank You page or page after collecting leads. For Purchases - It is tracked automatically, and therefore, no additions need to be made.
Important Video Note: At the time of creating, the video shows a purchase event as an option. It is no longer displayed in the menu as all purchases from an account that has pixels enabled. It will automatically send the conversions on all purchases made and does not need to be selected.
Step 4: Reviewing the Purchases on Facebook
If you would like to review the purchases that were made on a page and passed to Facebook, please follow the steps below.
- Go to the Data Sources in Facebook™ Events Manager.
- Select the Pixel and click on Overview .
- Expand the Purchase tab by clicking on the arrow on the right side of the page.
- Click on Details to see all the triggered events and information that have been passed to Facebook.
- Mouse over the events to see the passed information.
