Connecting Upviral with your Funnel

In this article, we will cover how to integrate UpViral with your funnel.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

An active UpViral account
A Funnel step set up to collect leads
A Funnel step to land on after collecting leads

UpViral is a third-party viral marketing software. Alongside with ClickFunnels, it can be used to collect leads by incentivizing or rewarding individuals to share links to your funnels.

Important Note: This document describes the basic steps to integrate UpViral with your funnel via HTML form integration. It is meant to act as a guide. Keep in mind that HTML form integrations fall under the subject of custom code. Due to the custom and varying nature of custom coding, our support team cannot provide support for writing or troubleshooting any code added to your ClickFunnels pages, including Upviral code.

Step 1: Create a new campaign in UpViral:

1. Log in to ClickFunnels

2. Hover over ClickFunnels in the top menu and click on Funnels

3. Locate and open the funnel that you would like to connect with UpViral

4. Log in to UpViral on a second browser tab

5. On the UpViral dashboard, click on + Create New Campaign

6. Enter your campaign name and click Create

7. On the left-hand side menu, click on Design Template

8. Click on Change

9. Under Type of the campaign, select Widget on your site

10. Click on Save campaign type

11. Under Lead Capture, click on + Add Template

12. Select a template from the list by clicking on the Select button

13. Edit the template as desired and save the changes

14. Under Social Share, click on + Add Template

15. Select a template from the list by clicking on the Select button

16. Edit the template as desired and save the changes

17. On the left-hand side menu, click on Installation

18. Click on HTML Form

Step 2: Adding UpViral to your Funnel

1. In ClickFunnels, copy the funnel step URL where you are collecting the lead’s information

2. Paste the URL as your Campaign URL in UpViral

3. In ClickFunnels, copy the step URL of the next funnel step where the lead will land after submitting their information

4. Paste the URL as your Share Page URL in UpViral

5. Click on Save

6. Hover over the HTML code labeled 1 and click on Copy code

7. In ClickFunnels, open the page editor for the step where leads will enter their information by clicking EDIT PAGE

8. Hover over SETTINGS and click on INTEGRATIONS

9. Select the null (Html Form) Integration

10. Select the Integrate Existing Form (Add HTML Below) option from the ACTION dropdown

11. Paste the previously copied HTML code labeled 1 in UpViral in the WEB FORM CODE field and click Parse & Save Web Form

12. Match the name field with name and email with email

13. Click on SAVE at the top right corner

14. In UpViral, hover over the code labeled 2 and click on Copy code

15. Click on the SETTINGS tab to open the funnel’s settings and paste code 2 into the HEAD TRACKING CODE field

16. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Save And Update Settings

17. In UpViral, hover over the code labeled 3 and click on Copy code

18. In ClickFunnels, open the page editor for the funnel step shown after the registration step by clicking on EDIT PAGE

19. Hover over ELEMENTS at the top and click on ADD ELEMENT

20. Scroll to the bottom of the menu opened to the right side and locate the CUSTOM JS/HTML element

21. Click on and drag the CUSTOM JS/HTML element to add it to the page

22. Open the settings for the CUSTOM JS/HTML element and click on > OPEN CODE EDITOR

23. Paste code 3 in and close the code editor

24. Click on SAVE at the top right corner
